Cat Cafe

The cat cafe was one of my favorite things in Tokyo. I had been waiting to visit one for the past few years and I finally had the opportunity when we got to Akihabara. We stumbled upon the cafe while just walking around and decided to give it a try. Once we went a few floors up to the cafe, we were greeted and told to wait while they gave us reusable slippers that came out of a dispenser. The prices were about $2 for every 10 minutes spent, per person. We were also given cups to get our own drinks before entering the cafe. They provided lockers where we put our belongings before getting some coffee and going into the cafe.

The cat cafe was so clean. Every few minutes, staff would come in to sweep the floors. The cats in the cafe were gorgeous. Each one was beautiful and stunning in their own way, they also had many breeds of cats. They left the cats a little hungry that way when you would purchase some of the treats, they would immediately swarm around you. We had little plastic balls full of small bits of kibble to feed the cats. We stayed a total of 20 minutes and it was a lot of fun, but a little expensive.
